‘Winter Fire’ is a small, neat, compact shrub which bears a profusion of bright, fire-red, tubular flowers in winter and early spring. Fine foliage emerges with bright yellow new growth, maturing out to deep green in colour. Grows approximately 1 x 1m.

Full sun to part shade position. Prefers a well drained, lime-free soil. Responds well to mulching with peat or composted bark. Lightly prune and apply acid fertiliser after flowering. Tolerant of light frosts.
