Beautiful green foliage and is highly disease resistant. Tight bunches of delicious Lady Finger bananas, short and fat and very sweet. Flowers in autumn with fruit ripe for harvest in Spring. Self fertile. Grows approximately 3-4m high.

Each plant will only flower and fruit once. Once the plant has finished, it should be chopped down and mulched around the base. Bananas are vigorous growers that produce offshoots to take the place of the mother plant. Keep 2-3 young plants growing alongside the mother plant and cut away any extras.

Full sun in a sheltered position with protection from wind and frost. Requires soil that drains well but benefits from plenty of moisture during summer. Tolerant of drought and poor soils. For best results, feed with a citrus fertiliser spring and summer. Mulch heavily to protect roots.
